Armageddon described in the Youtube video documentary by ZDF of Germany
was a certainty in March last year. There are over 1300 spent fuel rods stored
in the pool at reactor 4. If they are exposed
above the water they will meltdown. According
to Assistant Prof. Mr. Koide who we often refer to said that the amount of radiation
stored in those fuel rods is equivalent to 4000 times of Hiroshima bomb. You could imagine how devastated situation could
be for not just for Japan but for the rest of the world if they meltdown. How
then did the spent fuel rods survive exposure when magnitude 9 earthquake hit
the plant? Well you won't believe
it! Some routine work on Reactor 4 which
was supposed to have finished a few days before, was delayed due to a small
technical error, and this meant there was a temporary pool of water right next
to the spent fuel pool left hanging around on March 11, and with the impact of
earthquake the dividing wall broke and a thousand tons of water which are not
usually there accidentally and miraculously poured into the spent fuel pool,
replacing the water that got lost in the blackout. Makes you feel there is positive force at
work, doesn't it?
