Global 2000 environmental protection agency German Nuclear specialist and a
head of ECRP, Inge Schmitz-Feuerhake criticizes the Japanese Government for giving
out wrong data concerning radiation in children. It is said that the measurements of nuclear
radiation are below the dangerous lines and therefore children would be safe. In fact though 35% of children in Fukushima
prefecture have already been diagnosed with knots in the thyroid. These usually
are rarer than in adults and much more dangerous. All 360.000 children in the
area will be examined and it is to be expected that the number of affected
children will go up significantly.
