Voices of anti nuclear power are getting stronger in Japan.

The Fukushima Nuclear Accident Independent Investigation Commission (NAIIC) released a report in this August, concluding “the accident was the result of collusion between the government, the regulators and TEPCO, and the lack of governance by said parties. They effectively betrayed the nation’s right to be safe from nuclear accidents.”  However so far nobody has taken any responsibility.  In despite of over 85% of the nation want no more nuclear, Japanese government decided to carry on with Nuclear power, planning to restart more and starting building new ones.   It has been a huge wakeup call for Japanese citizens – It’s now unstoppable.  On every Friday Anti nuclear demonstration against the government throughout Japan, “Goodbye to Nuclear Power Plants” 10 million rally team has collected over 8.14 million signatures as of October 31, 2012.  http://sayonara-nukes.org/english/  Also they are planning a 10 million anti nuclear demonstration in 45 different places throughout In Japan over this coming weekend (9-11/11, 2012)  which is set to be the biggest ever demonstration of its kind.   These collective efforts led the Act for Assisting Fukushima Nuclear Disaster Victims and Affected Children to pass in the parliament in this June.  The Fukushima Nuclear Power Lawsuit Team has collected more than 10,000 cases to sue the Japanese government and Tepco.  Since the government seems bent on adhering to the ICRP and UNSCEAR policies,
Japanese citizens need to bring about change through the courts and also through elections.
