I also didn't hear anybody say that milk was the cause. 60% comes from inhaling the substance. since the iodine plume reached both Kanto and Fukushima, adults and children must be tested. Even the Soviet Union, whose economy had collapsed, gave health tests to every single person using one-fourth of the national budget.
Annual dose of 1 millisievert is not 0.114uSv/h. It's not the same as air dose of 0.23uSv/h. The annual dose of 1 millisievert set in Belarus includes internal exposure, so 50% comes from the outside and 50% is from the inside. If this place is 0.08uSv/h, then this is the same as Chernobyl. If you say there is no data that indicates danger, I'll bring the Chernobyl children and have them testify.
But Tokyo's radiation dose is even higher than Gomel. You shouldn't have been sitting here on radiation. We cannot play sports in Japan’s contaminated areas. Why? Because reproductive organs are going to be affected. If children touch the ground containing radiation, their reproductive organs are going to be deformed or they will be sterile. They had said that 1 millisieert per year is the maximum dose permitted. So, who said it's okay to ease the standards? The people who set them? These specialists will compromise for the money, and our weakness makes us compromise too. People become shocked and say, “that's not really going to happen." Even the people in Fukushima are like that.
Only a few people can just stop living in Fukushima and move to a safe place. Most people are suffering like that. So the only way to help those people is to force them to migrate. But the government doesn't want to do it because they know many people will complain. they would say they didn't want to move and complain about their situation. They will never appreciate that. the same thing happened 27 year ago in Belarus and people are still saying they want to go back to their hometown.
Therefore, we have to force them to evacuate. We need to have a trial for Kanto's children. And the same for Kanto's adults. So it's not really support. If we don't do it as a movement also for ourselves, we can't survive. Our parents gave us our lives. God gave us our lives. the government didn't give us our lives. Then why do we have to obey the government.
I want everybody here to be strong like Mr. Yamamoto and become a person who can say what he or she really feels. Even if it's only the people here who change, we could overturn this situation. Whatever people say to you just say, wrong is wrong.. that is how we can save the children. We have to do this. When I visited a Chernobyl hopital 5-6 years ago after the accident, the doctors and nurses were all crying and saying they had 100 children with thyroid cancer. So, it's like a flash-back for me. We're talking about 100 patients in an area populated similarly to Hokkaido. and the level of contamination is about the same as Kanto. So we have to act now.
Please let the children escape from radiation and help them recuperate. Please help evacuate the children to safe places. I sincerely hope the trial goes well.

Ms. Noro has been organising a hosting program of Chernobyl children in her native Hokkaido. The NPO “Kakehashi (bridge) to Chernobyl” has hosted hundreds children from Chernobyl and they are currently organizing recuperation program for Fukushima children. Since 3.11 she has lectured all around Japan for the public, especially for the mothers who concern about the health effect of radiation.

(Editor's note) I have been listening many of her lectures on youtube. I always feel much encouraged and inspired by her being and her passionate talk. She always manages to cut through unnecessary emotional tangles, straight to the most important point, and help me to get in touch with my core being as a human. I wish her lectures would be translated into English more in the future.
